The classes are offered by Geeta Cowlagi, the only CFM Certified MBSR teacher teaching MBSR classes in Central Texas. The class is based on the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program founded by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1979.
