Workplace Mindfulness and Meditation

Intentionally crafted MBSR programs that are incorporated into the workday provide a huge benefit to employees. These programs support and guide participants to address and alleviate their own stressors, which results in greater clarity and balance. In turn, the workplace becomes more productive, more compassionate, and more effective as a whole.

Is your staff dealing with stress, illness, or frustration?

The Stress Reduction Program has been clinically proven to benefit people reporting a variety of concerns:*

Stress – caused by work, school, family, financial, illness, aging, grief and several other factors of daily living.

Medical conditions – including chronic illness or pain, high blood pressure, cancer, heart disease, GI distress, skin disorders, and many other conditions.

Psychological distress – including anxiety, panic, depression, fatigue and sleep disturbances.

Prevention and wellness –including health enhancement and learning a better sense of balance in life.

These workshops are offered as a complement to traditional medical and psychological treatments.  They are a brief introduction to the practices.  An ongoing commitment to deepen the understanding and practice of the five foundational tools is encouraged and is required to reap the full benefits of this program.

MBSR Works for You

After considering the environment of your workplace, we can create a structure that supports the culture and expectations of the staff.  There are many options.  I am including some past examples below, and I am open to hearing what you’re dreaming of.

  • One hour a week for 8 weeks
  • One hour a week for 4 weeks
  • One full day retreat
  • Two full day retreats
  • Trainings can occur during lunch, the beginning or end of the day (again, taking into account the culture of your staff)
